Our Commitment to Transparency
Hikertown is not fighting against legitimate code requirements. We are documenting every compliance action publicly so the community and county officials can see exactly what work has been done, what is underway, and what remains. We are showing our work - and we are asking that the enforcement process do the same.
Debris and material storage in flagged areas

Removed accumulated debris, sorted materials, hauled non-essential items off-property. Documented with before/during/after photography.

Area now meets code requirements per property walkthrough.
Property signage restoration and compliance

Reviewing all existing signage against current county standards. New signage being fabricated and installed in phases.
Estimated completion: July 2026.
Water system inspection and repair documentation
CompletedWork Performed
Engaged licensed plumber to inspect, document, and repair the on-site water system. All work permitted and inspected.
Completed: April 2026
Permits on file. Final inspection passed.
Fire clearance and vegetation management
PlannedWork Performed
Annual fire clearance work including brush removal, defensible space creation, and documentation per LA County fire standards.
Scheduled for coordination with county fire department.
